Firmes Leitura bíblica: Judas 1-4  _________________ Ele os manterá firmes até o fim, de modo que vocês serão irrepreensíveis no dia de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo (1 Coríntios 1.8).  _________________

Creio que o desejo de toda pessoa que crê em Jesus Cristo é permanecer firme nele até o fim da sua vida. Contudo, uma vez que somos pecadores, ou seja, temos uma natureza que se opõe a Deus, isso parece bem difícil no mundo em que vivemos. Para dificultar ainda mais, surgem a cada dia novas pessoas usando a Bíblia para ensinar doutrinas inventadas. Assistindo a alguns programas televisivos, surpreendo-me com o que se é capaz de falar pretensamente em nome de Deus. São palavras envolvidas numa capa bíblica, mas que não condizem com o que Deus determinou. Muitas vezes a Bíblia é usada para ensinar pensamentos e vontades próprias, e não a Palavra de Deus. É uma realidade que confunde muita gente.

O texto que você acabou de ler fala de indivíduos que se infiltraram entre os cristãos, cujo objetivo não era fortalecer a fé. Judas deixa bem evidente que estes transformaram a graça de Deus em libertinagem, uma fé sem compromisso em que cada um faz o que acha certo. Assim, muitas pessoas se diziam cristãs mas não viviam segundo a vontade de Deus. Sabemos pela Bíblia que não existe vida cristã sem obediência. “Se vocês me amam, obedecerão aos meus mandamentos” (João 14.15), disse Jesus. É evidente que por nós mesmos não conseguimos viver integralmente de acordo com o que Deus requer. É só olhar para os mandamentos e veremos o quanto somos incapazes e falhos. Todavia, nossa incapacidade não nos deve levar ao desleixo, mas atrair-nos ainda mais para Deus, pois dependemos totalmente da sua graça e misericórdia.

E assim como você lê no versículo em destaque, Deus mesmo zelará para que permaneçamos firmes em Jesus Cristo até o fim. Entretanto, Deus também não nos obrigará a ficar com ele se nós não quisermos. Se, porém, desejarmos viver com ele, Deus mesmo cuidará de nós para que não nos desviemos da sua vontade.

I believe that the desire of every person who believes in Jesus Christ is to remain firm until the end of his life. However, since we are sinners, that is, we have a nature that precludes God, that sounds pretty hard in the world in which we live. To make it even more, every day new people using the Bible to teach doctrines invented. Watching some tv shows, I'm surprised with what is supposedly capable of speaking in the name of God. Are words involved in a Bible cover, but that don't match what God has determined. Many times the Bible is used for teaching thoughts and wills of their own, and not the word of God. It is a reality that confuses a lot of people.

The text you just read talks about individuals who infiltrated among Christians, whose aim was to strengthen the faith. Jude makes it clear that these have turned the grace of God into licentiousness, a faith without compromise in which each does what he thinks is right. So many people said but not Christians lived according to God's will. We know from the Bible that there is no Christian life without obedience. "If you love me, obey my commandments" (John 14.15), said Jesus. It is clear that by ourselves we can't live fully according to what God requires. Just look at the commandments and see how much we are unable and flawed. However, our inability should not lead to sloppiness, but attract even more to God, because we depend entirely on your grace and mercy.

And so as you read the verse highlighted, even God will ensure to remain steadfast in Jesus Christ to the end. However, God also does not force us to stay with him if we don't want to. If, however, we wish to live with him, even God will take care of us so we didn't stay to his will.
