Frutos da confiança

O poder de Deus nos tem dado tudo o
que precisamos para viver uma vida que agrada a Ele, por meio do conhecimento
que temos daquele que nos chamou para tomar parte na sua própria glória e
bondade. (2 Pedro 1.3 NTLH)

A paz e a alegria da
nossa vida estão totalmente ligadas à confiança que temos em Deus. Esta, por
sua vez, acontece a partir do conhecimento que temos dele, que é dado pelo
próprio Deus por meio de sua Palavra e das experiências que vivenciamos. Quando
Deus vem até nós com sua graça, sua presença nos enche de alegria. Quando estamos
diante dele, vemos seu poder, cuidado e amor por nós. A confiança nasce
naturalmente e produz muitos frutos.
Segurança – Quem confia
no Senhor está seguro. Não tem o que temer, e isto por um simples motivo: não existe
nada nem ninguém que possa prevalecer sobre o poder de Deus. Esta segurança plena
é nosso consolo quando recebemos más notícias.
Felicidade – O filho de
Deus possui uma alegria que independe das circunstâncias. A felicidade está
longe de muitos porque a procuram em lugares errados, e esta busca só aumenta a
sua tristeza. Incomparável é a alegria de servir a Deus e estar em sua
presença.
Bênçãos – Quem vive com
Deus recebe dele muitas dádivas (veja o versículo em destaque) e tem uma vida
frutífera. Como diz o texto de hoje, é como uma árvore que possui raízes
profundas, sempre tem folhas verdes, dá frutos mesmo no calor ou ausência de
chuvas. É uma vida abençoada que abençoa outras pessoas, pois o amor de Deus se
manifesta em seu amor ao próximo.
Quanto mais nos
aproximamos de Deus, maior será a nossa confiança nele. A que distância estamos
dele? O maior inimigo da confiança em Deus é a confiança em si mesmo (veja o
verso 9).
Que nossa maior riqueza
sejam a presença do Senhor, nossa fé e também a vida eterna, a paz e a alegria
proporcionadas por vivermos com ele.

confiança em Deus seja como a árvore que suporta as tempestades e mesmo assim
frutifica.

Fruits of confidence

The
peace and joy of our life are fully connected with the confidence that we have
in God. This, in turn, happens from the knowledge we have of him, that is given
by God himself through his word and the experiences that we experience. When
God comes to us with his grace, his presence fills us with joy. When we are in
front of him, see his power, care and love for us. Confidence is born naturally
and produces many fruits.
Security
– Who trust in the Lord is secure. Have no fear, and this for a simple reason:
there is nothing and nobody that can prevail over the power of God. This full
security is our comfort when we received bad news.
Happiness-the
son of God has a joy that does not depend on the circumstances. Happiness is
far from many because looking in the wrong places, and this search only
increases his sadness. Incomparable is the joy of serving God and be in his
presence.
Blessings
– who lives with God gets him many gifts (see verse headlines) and have a
fruitful life. As the text today, is like a tree that has deep roots, always
have green leaves, fruit even in the heat or the absence of rains. It's a
blessed life that blesses others, because the love of God is manifested in
their love of neighbor.
The
closer you get to God, the greater our confidence in him. How far are we from
it? The greatest enemy of the faith in God is to trust in yourself (see verse
9).
That
our greatest wealth are the presence of the Lord, our faith and also eternal
life, peace and joy offered by living with him.

Our confidence in God is like the tree which supports the storms and
still growing.
