levem os meus ossos daqui (Gênesis 50.25).

A leitura
bíblica de hoje e o versículo em destaque pertencem a ocasiões diferentes. No
versículo, José, governador do Egito, instrui seus irmãos sobre o que fazer com
os seus ossos quando seus descendentes retornassem à sua terra natal, Canaã. Na
leitura, esse retorno está em andamento, acompanhado de muitas lutas.
Ambos os
textos mostram que, mesmo dependendo inteiramente de Deus, também precisamos
agir sempre que necessário. José não podia deixar só nas mãos de Deus o
cumprimento do seu desejo, embora este revele sua fé em que Deus os levaria de
volta. A situação em que os israelitas estavam assemelha-se às condições de
nossos dias. Estamos num mundo que pertence ao inimigo e é hostil à vida
cristã. Que fazer? O mesmo que os israelitas fizeram: perguntar a Deus.
Dependemos hoje da orientação de Deus principalmente porque ela é a única fonte
de verdade absoluta. As “verdades” do nosso mundo são flexíveis e, portanto,
nem existem de fato.
Judá deveria
iniciar a conquista. Não por ser a tribo mais numerosa. A vitória não vem das
nossas possibilidades, e sim de Deus, por mais favoráveis que sejam as
circunstâncias. Deus é fiel à sua Palavra dita no passado. Neste caso, uma
promessa dada em Gênesis 49.10.
Outra boa
providência relatada aqui foi a busca por união. “Venha conosco!”, disseram aos
homens da tribo de Simeão. Que frase linda! Por fim, Adoni-Bezeque, um dos
inimigos de Israel, ensina que os resultados das nossas ações sempre nos
alcançarão. “O que o homem semear, isso também colherá”, diz o apóstolo Paulo
em Gálatas 6.7.
Assim, são quatro as lições que este episódio nos ensina: (1) Deus
cumpre suas promessas; (2) nós temos de fazer a nossa parte; (3) nossa ação
inclui a cooperação com nossos irmãos; (4) o resultado do que fizermos
corresponderá aos nossos atos.

Today's
scriptural reading and the verse highlighted belong to different occasions. In
verse, José, Governor of Egypt, instructs his brothers about what to do with
his bones when his descendants returned to his native land, Canaan. In reading,
this return is in progress, accompanied by plenty of fights.
Both
texts show that even depending on God entirely, we also need to act whenever
necessary. José couldn't help just in the hands of God fulfilling his desire,
although this reveal their faith that God would take them back. The situation
in which the Israelites were similar to the conditions of our day. We're in a
world that belongs to the enemy and is hostile to the Christian life. To do?
The same as the Israelites did: ask God. We rely on the guidance of God today
mainly because she is the only source of absolute truth. The "truths"
of our world are flexible and, therefore, don't even exist in fact.
Judah
should start the conquest. Not because it is the most numerous tribe. The
victory not of our possibilities, and Yes to God, for more favourable than the
circumstances. God is faithful to his word in the past. In this case, a promise
given in Genesis 49.10.
Another
good Providence reported here was the quest for Union. "Come with
us!" said the men of the tribe of Simeon. That lovely phrase. Finally, Adonibezek,
one of the enemies of Israel, teaches that the results of our actions always in
reach. "What man sows, that also reap", the Apostle Paul says in Galatians
6.7.
Thus, there are four lessons that this episode
teaches us: (1) God fulfills his promises; (2) we have to do our part; (3) our
action includes cooperation with our brothers; (4) the result of what we do
will correspond to our acts.
