Fé viva / Living faith

Fé viva Leitura bíblica: Lucas 18.1-8  _________________ Assim como o corpo sem espírito está morto, também a fé sem obras está morta (Tiago 2.26). _________________

A fé é como um motor. Ele pode estar pronto para funcionar, mas se não tiver o combustível adequado e não for acionado, não sai do lugar. Tiago diz: “A fé sem obras é morta”. É um motor desligado e inútil. Precisa ter o combustível da Palavra de Deus e precisa ser acionada, isto é, utilizada em oração e aplicada na vida diária. As obras a que Tiago se refere podem ser entendidas como toda e qualquer obediência à Palavra de Deus. A fé sem obediência é inútil! Se você não chegou ainda aonde queria chegar, desligaria o motor? Claro que não! A oração mantém a fé acionada, e a obediência a mantém viva e ativa!

A viúva da parábola contada por Jesus no texto da leitura bíblica de hoje acionou sua fé e clamou persistentemente ao juiz, de forma que Jesus chama a atenção para sua fé ao perguntar se o Filho do homem encontrará fé (como a dessa viúva) na terra quando vier. Se a situação não mudou, se a resposta não chegou, se a solução não aconteceu, se o recurso não apareceu, se a porta não se abriu, se a necessidade ainda não foi suprida, se o socorro ainda não chegou, se o fardo está difícil demais, se a escuridão impede de enxergar, se a dor e a tristeza o assaltam, não desligue o motor. Creia! Ore! Continue orando! Continue clamando! Não creia nos seus sentimentos, nem naquilo que as pessoas dizem. Principalmente, não creia nas mentiras do diabo! Creia na Palavra de Deus. Fé é manter a vida firmada em Deus e em sua Palavra e não em outra pessoa ou coisa qualquer. Se Deus falou, esse é o verdadeiro combustível para a sua fé. A Palavra renova nossa mente, muda nossa compreensão das coisas, traz o entendimento correto, dá discernimento, força e paz para perseverarmos e aguardarmos a intervenção de Deus.

A questão não é se Deus vai agir! Ele vai! A questão é: quando ele agir, nossa fé estará aguardando? Ele achará fé em nosso coração?

Fé não é dizer que crê. Fé verdadeira é perseverar e obedecer.

Faith is like an engine. He may be ready to work, but if you don't have the proper fuel and no fires, no move. James says: "faith without works is dead". Is an engine shut down and useless. Need to have the fuel of the word of God and needs to be thrown, that is used in prayer and applied in daily life. The works that James refers can be understood as any obedience to the word of God. Faith without obedience is useless! If you do not yet where I wanted to get, turn the engine? Of course not! Prayer keeps the faith thrown, and obedience to keeping her alive and active!

The widow of the parable told by Jesus in today's scriptural reading triggered their faith and claimed the judge so persistently that Jesus calls attention to his faith to ask if the son of man will find faith (as to this widow) on earth when it comes. If the situation has not changed, if the answer isn't here yet, if the solution does not happen, if the feature doesn't show up, if the door is not opened, the need has not been met, if the help has not yet reached, if the burden is too difficult, if the darkness stops to see if the pain and sorrow the assault, do not turn off the engine. Believe me! Pray! Keep praying! Keep crying! Do not believe in your feelings, not about what people say. Don't believe the lies of the devil! Believe in the word of God. Faith is to keep the life in God and in his established Word and not someone else or something else. If God said, this is the real fuel for their faith. The word renews our mind, change our understanding of things, get the correct understanding, gives insight, strength and peace to persevere and await the intervention of God.

The question is not If God will act. He will! The question is: when he acts, our faith will be waiting? Will he find faith in our heart?

Faith is not to say that believes. True faith is persevere and obey.
