Mulheres
grávidas fazem exames pré-natais para saber se está tudo bem com o bebê e se a
gravidez está progredindo sem problemas. Mas não é só isso que antecede o
nascimento de um bebê. Na verdade, além dos exames médicos, a chegada de um
bebê envolve uma série de mudanças e preparativos na vida da família: compra-se
o enxoval do bebê e seu berço, o quarto ganha uma decoração especial,
familiares trazem presentes, estoques de fralda começam a ocupar espaço no
guarda-roupa, brinquedos vão enfeitando o quarto. Mas o mais importante de tudo
é a expectativa dos pais! Como será a vida após o nascimento dessa criança,
especialmente quando é o primeiro filho ou filha?
Acho que o Natal
deveria ser assim: vai nascer uma criança! E não é uma criança qualquer. Por
isso, em vez de corrermos atrás dos presentes do amigo secreto ou da sogra, da
revisão do carro para a viagem ou de ficar esmagado na rua 25 de Março para
comprar as lembrancinhas pros sobrinhos, a gente deveria se preparar para o
nascimento de Jesus. E é tão fácil: ele não vai precisar de berço, nem de
decoração especial no quarto. Não será preciso comprar enxoval, nem brinquedos,
nem fazer estoque de fralda ou chá disso ou daquilo.
Na verdade, a
preparação não envolve dinheiro, mas é preciso fazer exames. Examinar a vida,
examinar as ênfases, examinar o coração. É preciso ver se estamos entrando em
mais uma loucura natalina ou se, desta vez, vamos dedicar algum momento para aquietar
o coração e deixar o menino nascer, fazer morada e conduzir a nossa vida. O
Natal é um evento tão único e tão pessoal que pode ser vivido no segredo do
coração. O nascimento de Jesus é a expressão sublime do amor de Deus em se
fazer humano para nossa salvação. É Deus mostrando seu rosto e nos chamando
para caminhar junto dele. Como você vai celebrar este Natal: com ou sem Jesus?!

review of the car for the trip or get smashed in the street March 25 to buy
souvenirs for the nephews, we should prepare for the birth of Jesus. And it's
so easy: he won't need a crib, or special decoration in the room. You do not
need to buy toys or outfits, nor do stock a diaper or tea of this or that.
Actually,
the preparation does not involve money, but need to do tests. Examine the life,
examine the emphases, examine the heart. We need to see if we're entering
another crazy Christmas or if, this time, we're going to devote some time to
quiet your heart and let the child be born, do address and lead our lives.
Christmas is an event so unique and so personal that can be lived in the secret
of the heart. The birth of Jesus is the sublime expression of the love of God
in human do to our salvation. Is God showing his face and calling us to walk
with him. How will you celebrate this Christmas: with or without Jesus?!
