Ingratidão

Da mesma forma como Moisés levantou a
serpente no deserto, assim também é necessário que o Filho do homem seja
levantado, para que todo o que nele crer tenha a vida eterna (João 3.14-15).

O povo de
Israel testemunhou muitos milagres de Deus durante sua caminhada pelo deserto
rumo à terra de Canaã. Experimentar o cuidado de Deus deveria ter feito com que
lhe fossem gratos e caminhassem firmes na certeza de que Deus lhes daria a
terra da promessa. Contudo, o que vemos no texto que você acabou de ler é um
povo impaciente e ingrato. Chegaram a dizer que a comida que Deus lhes dava era
miserável.
Infelizmente esta não foi apenas a realidade do povo de Israel. O ser
humano é por natureza ingrato e insatisfeito. Creio que, se você pensar na
última semana que passou, escutou pessoas insatisfeitas reclamando. Talvez você
mesmo tenha reclamado de situações, mostrando ingratidão pelo que tem recebido
de Deus. No Novo Testamento encontramos o apóstolo Paulo dizendo: “Deem graças
em todas as circunstâncias, pois esta é a vontade de Deus para vocês em Cristo
Jesus” (1 Tessalonicenses 5.18). É verdade que cada um de nós enfrenta
situações difíceis na vida e não tem tudo o que deseja. Jesus Cristo nos
alertou dizendo que nesse mundo passaríamos por aflições, mas que deveríamos
ter bom ânimo, pois ele vencera o mundo (João 16.33). A pessoa insatisfeita
sempre acha que deve ter mais e esquece aquilo que já tem. Ao povo de Israel
Deus concedeu o cuidado necessário. A nós Deus também promete tudo o que
necessitamos para nossa vida. O problema reside justamente no fato de acharmos
que Deus não nos dá o suficiente, e aí começam as reclamações e alguns até
mesmo amaldiçoam o que possuem, como foi o caso dos israelitas. Hoje quero
convidá-lo a pensar na sua atitude diante do assunto que tratamos. Você tem se
mostrado grato, ou a ingratidão sobressai? E não por último devo alertá-lo de
que a reclamação atrai sobre você a ira de Deus.

que reclamar, lembre-se que Jesus sangrou na cruz também por causa da nossa
ingratidão.

Ingratitude

the same way as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so the
son of man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him have eternal life (John

The
people of Israel witnessed many miracles of God during your walk through the
wilderness towards the land of Canaan. Experience the care of God should have
made you be grateful and smallish firm in the certainty that God would give
them the land of promise. However, what we see in the text you just read is a
people impatient and ungrateful. Came to say that the food that God gave them
was miserable.
Unfortunately this was not only the reality of the
people of Israel. Human beings are by nature ungrateful and unhappy. I believe
that, if you think about last week, you heard people dissatisfied complaining.
Maybe you even have claimed of situations, showing ingratitude for what you
have received from God. In the New Testament we find the Apostle Paul saying:
"Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in
Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5.18). It is true that each of us faces
difficult situations in life and not have everything you want. Jesus Christ
warned us saying that in this world we would by afflictions, but that we should
have good cheer, because he had won the world (John 16.33). The unsatisfied person
always think you should have more and forget about what you already have. The
people of Israel God granted the necessary care. God also promises us
everything we need for our life. The problem lies precisely in the fact we find
that God doesn't give us enough, and then start the complaints and some even
curse what they own, as was the case of the Israelites. Today I want to invite
you to consider your attitude towards matter we handle. You have been shown to
be grateful, or to ungratefulness stands out? And not least I must warn you
that the complaint about you attracts the wrath of God.

The next time you complain, remember that Jesus bled on the cross also
because of our ingratitude.
